Over the past seven years, periodic clean-outs led to the loss of my spindles, roving, knitting tools, and even my books on spinning. Fairly early on, the wheel went into storage. There’s not much demand for spinning wheels in these parts, and it had been a significant investment for me. It went into and came back out of storage with yarn on every bobbin (see below).

The niddy noddy was among the casualties of the purge, so I had to order a new one and wait a week for it to arrive before I could get my overspun Corriedale singles and leftover Aegean Superwash off the wheel.
